Artisan jewelry is created with gemstones, pearls, glass beads, specialty beading silk, silver, gold, and stretch cord, which all require special care. To prevent breakage and scratching of your jewelry, please keep each piece of jewelry in its individual box when not worn.  Using a ziplock jewelry bag can help prevent tarnishing of metal.  Please do not sleep, bathe or swim while wearing your jewelry.  If you wear perfumes, lotions or use hairsprays, please apply these first, then put on your jewelry.  Gemstones and pearls will absorb these products, and can damage them.  To clean your jewelry, a soft cloth is recommended, to gently wipe the stones.  Please do not dip your jewelry in jewelry cleaner, as some stones cannot come in contact with the liquid, and will be permanently damaged.
